Murfreesboro Rotary Honors Humanitarian Liz Rhea(0)
The Murfreesboro Rotary Club presented its Annual Humanity In Motion Award Tuesday (11/18/08). Last year’s recipient Don Alexander presented the award to Dr. Liz Rhea (left photo). This retired local physician has dedicated her entire life to helping others. This became more evident as her close friends shared earlier memories of Liz.

Dickson County Rotary Clubs host Pancake Breakfast Dec. 06
The three Rotary Clubs of Dickson County will jointly sponsor a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s on Saturday, December 6 from 7 A.M. to 9 A.M.
The cost is $5 and all proceeds benefit the Dickson County Imagination Library program.
Applebee’s is located at 543A Highway 46 South in Dickson.

Club Named ARC “Hometown Heroes”
The Rotary Club of Cool Springs has been named “Hometown Heroes” by the American Red Cross for it’s blood donor work.

Green Hills Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Unfortunately Vance Stewart and Don Turner, also founding members, were unable to be present.
The District Governor recognized the exemplary accomplishments of these individuals over their 20 year membership at our October 3rd Rotary meeting.
